Since 2010, paper has been at the heart of NIBBANAH.

We believe something as simple as paper can be transformed into objects of beauty — pieces made for everyday living, thoughtful gifting, celebrations and special moments.

Our collections are shaped by a love of paper, traditional handcraft and a desire to create more thoughtfully, with sustainability considered throughout the process.

OUR STORY

A love of paper, made to last.

NIBBANAH began with a fascination for the possibilities of paper.

Over the years, our signature paper products have evolved into collections that celebrate colour, texture and handcrafted detail. Each piece reflects the time-honoured skills behind its making, transforming humble materials into decorative objects designed to bring personality and warmth into the home.

OUR COMMITMENT

Made with sunlight. Shaped by hand.

Our paper flowers and paper materials are made by hand, with an emphasis on reducing energy use wherever possible.

Natural Saa fibre is used to create our paper, which is then coloured and dried naturally in sunlight. This traditional process helps produce the bright, vibrant colours that have become part of the NIBBANAH character.

We also work with local makers in rural Singburi, Thailand. Through our production, NIBBANAH supports local employment while continuing to develop skills, training and opportunities within the community.

NIBBANAH continues to develop its own Australian-designed paper flower collections, exploring new forms, colours and ways to use paper creatively.

We also choose handmade products and collaborations that allow us greater consideration over materials, production methods and the environmental impact of the objects we bring into our collections.

For NIBBANAH, being eco-conscious is not about a single material or label.

We look for products and materials that may be recycled, reused, repurposed or biodegraded, as well as those made from recycled, reclaimed or naturally renewable resources. We also value ethical making and local sourcing wherever possible.

Our goal is to continue creating products that bring joy into everyday spaces while making more thoughtful choices about how they are designed, made and delivered.

OUR PACKAGING

Thoughtful, down to the details.

We consider packaging as part of the product experience.

Where possible, we aim to reduce unnecessary materials and design packaging that can serve more than one purpose.

Our paper flower bouquets use strong brown kraft wrapping designed to protect the flowers while remaining practical to carry, while selected boxes are designed to function as both product packaging and postage packaging.
